Retreat Meals

Alena is our Ayuverda Chef - modern Ayurveda meets local cuisine.  Her meals are made from fresh and mostly locally grown produce. She follows basic Ayurvedic principles without being too dogmatic. Meals are adapted to the season and time of day, and the dishes are suitable for everyone. Alena ensures the right food combinations in order to promote wellbeing and steady energy levels throughout the day.

 

Alena loves to get inspired by local farmers markets and to reinterpret traditional recipes.  Her dishes are mostly vegan and gluten-free. 

 

Note:  Please let us know any dietary requirements or allergies in advance.  We will do our best to adjust the menu to your needs.

Breakfast buffet (same every day):

  • Warming ayurvedic porridge & stewed fruit

  • Bread with variety of spreads, jam, butter, honey

  • Muesli & joghurt with fresh fruits

Lunch:

  • Kichari (Ayurvedic dish)

  • Pear chutney

  • Sauteed greens with tamari

  • Crispy roasted parsnips

  • Beetroot salad /w rucola & walnuts 

 

Dessert: Juicy orange cake
